It was during Tri Ralpachen’s reign (806-841 A.D) when he invited Indian scholars to work with Tibetan scholars, Kawa Paltsek and Chogru Lui Gyaltsen to prepare the first Sanskrit–Tibetan Lexicon, called the Mahavyutpatti.
