Gendun Chopel at age twelve, is said to have written two of these poems when he was twelve. Only one such poem by him survives.
where he writes:
Refined subtle essence purified by fire,
A body where infinite light- forms converge as one.
You are teacher, the taught, the audience.
It is unclear whether this is one of his youthful works; that it is dedicated to a famous Nyingma lama.
It was translated by Donald S. Lopez Jr, here’s the original Tibetan one. a grid of squares, eighteen by eighteen, is drawn, and a syllable is placed in each square such that the syllables can be read as a poem in multiple directions.
