On Human Rights Day, 10 December 2023, we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Declaration, a milestone celebration called Human Rights 75 (HR 75). It seeks to increase knowledge of the universality and indivisibility of human rights. Today it is more relevant & urgent than ever.
Despite international efforts to address human rights issues, Tibet faces challenges, including restrictions on freedom of expression, religious practices, and cultural preservation. It’s crucial to shed light on these issues and advocate for positive change. On Human Rights Day, let’s amplify the voices of Tibetans advocating for their rights. By raising awareness and standing in solidarity, we contribute to the global call for justice, freedom, and the protection of fundamental human rights.
